(1) Open these circuit breqakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a) P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
1) 7C7 WXR L RT
2) 7C19 WXR R RT

Open the nose radome (AMM 53-52-01/201).

Remove waveguide Section 1:
(a)
Remove the screws and washers from the flanges between waveguide Sections 1 and 2.
(b)
Release the quick disconnect that holds the waveguide Section 1 to the antenna waveguide.
(c)
Remove the screw, nut, and the support clamp from waveguide Section 1.
(d)
Remove waveguide Section 1 and gaskets.

(4) Put dust caps on the waveguide flanges.
D. Waveguide Section 2 Removal.
NOTE: To remove waveguide section 2, access is necessary
____ to get into the nose radome and below the compartment floor in the nose cargo door section.

Open the nose radome (AMM 53-52-01/201).

Get access to section 2 below the compartment floor:
(a) Release the 18 fasteners that hold the cargo floor panel.
WARNING: STEP ONLY ON THE FLOOR BEAMS WHEN YOU REMOVE CARGO FLOOR
_______ PANEL. THE FLOOR PANELS BETWEEN THE BEAMS CAN FLEX AND CAUSE YOU TO FALL. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THESE INSTRUCTIONS, INJURY TO PERSONNEL AND/OR DAMAGE TO THE WEATHER RADAR EQUIPMENT OR BLANKET MATERIAL CAN OCCUR.
WARNING:_______THE CARGO FLOOR PANEL IS HEAVY. TO PREVENT INJURY, TWO PEOPLE ARE REQUIRED WHEN LIFTING OR MOVING THE CARGO FLOOR PANEL.
CAUTION: DO NOT PUSH OR PULL THE CARGO FLOOR PANEL ACROSS THE FLOOR
_______ BEAMS. THIS ACTION CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE BLANKET MATERIAL.
(b) Carefully remove the cargo floor panel.

(4) Remove waveguide Section 2:
(a)
Remove screws and lockwashers from flanges between sections 1 and 2.
(b)
Remove eight screws from bulkhead flange.
(c)
Remove screws and lockwashers from flanges between sections 2 and 3.
(d)
Remove two screws, two nuts and four washers that hold the aft waveguide tab to the aft support bracket.

Remove two screws, two nuts and four washers that holds the forward waveguide tab to the forward support bracket.
(f)
Support section 2 and carefully pull section 2 forward through the hole in bulkhead.
(g)
Remove waveguide Section 2 and gaskets.

(5) Put dust caps on waveguide flanges.
E. Waveguide Section 3 Removal
NOTE: To remove waveguide Section 3, it is necessary to get into the
____ nose radome and below the compartment floor in the nose cargo door.
