first officers ND.

Set the WXR switch on the first officers EFIS control panel to on. 1) Make sure that the weather radar display returns to the
first officers ND.

Set the SYS switch on the WXR control panel to the R position.
(l)
Set the TERR switch on the captain's EFIS control panel to on. 1) Make sure that the weather radar display is removed from the captain's ND.
2) Make sure a terrain map display is shown on the captains ND.

Set the TERR switch on the captain's EFIS control panel to off.
1) Make sure that the weather radar display is blank on the captains ND.

Set the WXR switch on the captain's EFIS control panel to on.
1) Make sure that the weather radar display returns to the captains ND.

Set the TERR switch on the first officer's EFIS control panel to on. 1) Make sure that the weather radar display is removed from

NOTE: The full gain test will not be possible when there are no
____ weather radar targets from mountains or large buildings. When there are no targets only the gain message part of this test will be done.

(1) Do a weather radar gain test:
WARNING: DO NOT OPERATE THE WEATHER RADAR WHILE FUEL IS ADDED OR
_______ REMOVED FROM THE AIRPLANE. DO NOT TRANSMIT RF ENERGY WHILE FUEL IS ADDED OR REMOVED IN AN AREA 200 FEET OR LESS OF THE ANTENNA. THIS CAN CAUSE AN EXPLOSION.
DO NOT OPERATE THE WEATHER RADAR IN A HANGAR OR OTHER ENCLOSURE. MAKE SURE NO PERSONS ARE IN THE AREA 15 FEET OR LESS FROM THE ANTENNA WHEN IT TRANSMITS RF ENERGY. RF ENERGY CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS.

Set the GAIN control on the WXR control panel out of the AUTO position.

Set the mode selector switch on the WXR control panel as shown below. 1) Make sure the blue VAR gain message on the NDs show for

Set the controls to get the best possible radar targets as
