(3) Remove waveguide Section 3:
(a)
Remove four screws and lockwashers from flanges between section 2 and section 3.
(b)
Remove four screws and lockwashers from flanges between section 3 and section 4.
(c)
Remove waveguide section 3 and gaskets.

(4) Put dust caps on the waveguide flanges.
F. Waveguide Section 4 Removal
NOTE: To remove waveguide Section 4, it is necessary to get into the
____ nose radome and below the compartment floor in the nose cargo door.

(1) Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a) P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
1) 7C7 WXR L RT
2) 7C19 WXR R RT

(2) Get access to section 4 below the compartment floor:
(a) Release the 18 fasteners that hold the cargo floor panel.
WARNING: STEP ONLY ON THE FLOOR BEAMS WHEN YOU REMOVE CARGO FLOOR
_______ PANEL. THE FLOOR PANELS BETWEEN THE BEAMS CAN FLEX AND CAUSE YOU TO FALL. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THESE INSTRUCTIONS, INJURY TO PERSONNEL AND/OR DAMAGE TO THE WEATHER RADAR EQUIPMENT OR BLANKET MATERIAL CAN OCCUR.
WARNING:_______THE CARGO FLOOR PANEL IS HEAVY. TO PREVENT INJURY, TWO PEOPLE ARE REQUIRED WHEN LIFTING OR MOVING THE CARGO FLOOR PANEL.
CAUTION: DO NOT PUSH OR PULL THE CARGO FLOOR PANEL ACROSS THE FLOOR
_______ BEAMS. THIS ACTION CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE BLANKET MATERIAL.
(b) Carefully remove the cargo floor panel.

(3) Remove waveguide section 4:
(a)
Remove four screws and lockwashers from flanges between section 3 and section 4.
(b)
Remove four screws and lockwashers from section 4 flange that mates with the waveguide switch.
NOTE: The screws go through the holes in the waveguide switch

support bracket into the waveguide switch.
(c) Remove waveguide section 4. 1) Hold the waveguide switch away from the waveguide switch support. 2) Slide the Section 4 through the slot in the bottom of the
waveguide switch support. 3) Remove waveguide section 4 and gaskets.

(4) Put dust caps on the waveguide flanges.
G. R/T Feeder Waveguide Section Removal
NOTE: To remove one or both R/T feeder waveguide sections,
____ it is necessary to get below the compartment floor in the nose cargo door.

(2) Get access to L/T feeder waveguide section below the compartment floor:
(a) Release the fasteners that hold the cargo floor panel.
