3. Ground Test - Weather Radar System__________________________________
A. General
(1)
The ground test does an analysis of the self-test results from the R/T monitor circuits. A PASS or FAIL message shows on the CDU.
(2)
To perform this ground test the weather radar must be in a radiate mode. See the Prepare for the Test steps below for the radiate restrictions.
(3)
If it is necessary to test the weather radar system in a non-radiate mode, the self test part of the weather radar operational test must be performed.
