 2) Push the line select key (LSK) that is adjacent to <CMC to show the CMC MENU. 3) If <RETURN shows after you push the LSK, push the LSK that is adjacent to <RETURN until you see the CMC MENU. 4) Push the LSK that is adjacent to <GROUND TESTS to show the GROUND TESTS menu. 5) Push the NEXT PAGE key until you find <34 INERTIAL REFERENCE. 6) Push the LSK that is adjacent to <34 INERTIAL REFERENCE the
 GROUND TESTS menu for the inertial reference system. 7) Push the LSK that is adjacent to the <IRU-C. 8) When the test PRECONDITIONS page shows, make sure each
 instruction on the page is completed. 9) Push the LSK that is adjacent to START TEST>.
 NOTE: IN PROGRESS shows during the test.

 a)  Make sure the first officer's PFD display and the ND message after 10 seconds are as follows:
 1.  
PFD attitude display - 5 |1 degrees pitch up

 2.  
PFD attitude display - 45 |2 degrees right roll

 3.  
ND message - WXR ATT

_ b) Make sure the CDU shows DONE adjacent to <IRU-C.
 (s)  
Set the first officer's IRS source select switch to R position.

 (t)  
Set the IRS-R switch on the IRS mode select panel to NAV. 1) Make sure the WXR ATT message goes out of view on the ND.

 (u)  
Set the SYS switch on the WXR control panel to the L position.

 (v)  
If no more tests of weather radar are necessary,
 Do the Weather Radar System Shutdown Task.

 (3)  Do a test of the weather radar stabilization with the IRU test switch:
 S 865-213
 WARNING: DO NOT OPERATE THE WEATHER RADAR WHILE FUEL IS ADDED OR REMOVED
_______ FROM THE AIRPLANE. DO NOT TRANSMIT RF ENERGY WHILE FUEL IS ADDED OR REMOVED IN AN AREA 200 FEET OR LESS OF THE ANTENNA. THIS CAN CAUSE AN EXPLOSION.
 DO NOT OPERATE THE WEATHER RADAR IN A HANGAR OR OTHER ENCLOSURE. MAKE SURE NO PERSONS ARE IN THE AREA 15 FEET OR LESS FROM THE ANTENNA WHEN IT TRANSMITS RF ENERGY. RF ENERGY CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS.
 (4)  Use the service and flight interphone systems to speak between the control cabin and the main equipment center.
 (a)  On the WXR control panel:
 1) Set the mode selector to the WX position.

 2) Set the antenna TILT control to 0 degrees.
 (b)  Set the captain's IRS source select switch to the L position.
 (c)  Set the IRS-C switch on the IRS mode select panel to ALIGN.
 (d)  Push and hold the IRU test switch on the front panel of the
 left IRU (E1-6).
 1) Make sure the captain's PFD display and ND messages after
 10 seconds are as follows:
 a) PFD attitude display - 5 |1 degrees pitchup
 b) PFD attitude display - 45 |2 degrees right
 c) ND message - WXR ATT
 (e)  Release the left IRU test switch.
 1) Make sure the captain's PFD display and the ND message are
 as follows:
 a) PFD attitude display - normal
 b) ND - WXR ATT message removed
 (f)  Set the captain's IRU source select switch to C.
 (g)  Set the IRS-C switch on the IRS mode select panel to NAV.
 (h)  Set the IRS-L switch on the IRS mode select panel to ALIGN.
 (i)  Push and hold the IRU test switch on the front panel of the
 center IRU (E1-6).
 1) Make sure the captain's PFD display and ND message after 10
 seconds are as follows:
 a) PFD attitude display - 5 |1 degrees pitchup
 b) PFD attitude display - 45 |2 degrees right
 c) ND message - WXR ATT
 (j)  Release the center IRU test switch.
 1) Make sure the captain's PFD display, and the ND message are
 as follows:
 a) PFD attitude display - normal
 b) ND - WXR ATT message removed
 (k)  Set the captain's IRS source select switch to the L position.
 (l)  Set the IRS-L switch on the IRS mode select panel to NAV.
