(1) Make sure these circuit breakers are open with DO-NOT-CLOSE tags attached:
(a) P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
1) 7C7 WXR L RT
2) 7C19 WXR R RT

PASSENGER AIRPLANES; Open the access door to the 117AL electronics compartment to get to the R/Ts (AMM 06-09-01/201).

Remove the dust cap on the electrical connector/waveguide flange on the left R/T mount (DB138) or the right R/T mount (DB140).

(5) Do this task to install the receiver/transmitter in the R/T mount:

(6) PASSENGER AIRPLANES;
Do this task to install the receiver/transmitter in the R/T mount:
Rack Mounted Electrical/Electronic Module - Installation
AMM 20-11-22/401).
CAUTION: HOLD THE R/T AWAY FROM THE LOWER E30 SHELF. IF THE R/T_______
TOUCHES THE UNITS INSTALLED IN THE LOWER E30 SHELF, THE
R/T COULD DAMAGE THIS EQUIPMENT.
(a) Make sure the R/T does not touch any of the electrical
equipment on the lower E30 shelf.

(7) FREIGHTER AIRPLANES;
Install the left or the right receiver/transmitter on the R/T mount
below the cargo floor panels between stations 180 and 220.
(a) Put the receiver/transmitter on the R/T mount and push it fully
to the rear to engage the mating connector on the R/T mount.
(b) Engage the holddown knobs with the R/T mount holddown clamps
and tighten the knobs to attach the R/T to the R/T mount.

(8) Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:
(a) P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
1) 7C7 WXR L RT
2) 7C19 WXR R RT

(9) Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

(10) Do the operational test or the ground test for the weather radar system - adjustment/test" (AMM 34-43-00/501).

WARNING:_______ STEP ONLY ON THE FLOOR BEAMS WHEN YOU REMOVE CARGO FLOOR
PANEL. THE FLOOR PANELS BETWEEN THE BEAMS CAN FLEX WHEN
STEPPED UPON AND CAN CAUSE YOU TO FALL. IF YOU DO NOT
