 (5)  Push the RUN/STOP key to start the test.
 (a) Make sure TCAS annunciates "Monitor Vertical Speed".
 NOTE: A crossing descend resolution advisory may be given
____ instead of the Monitor Vertical Speed resolution advisory. Decrease the intruder's altitude or increase the airplane's altitude appropriately to correct this.

Return the airplane back to field level altitude.

Set the radio altitude to 0 feet.


 NOTE: Decrease the radio altitude by 600 feet per minute (fpm) or
____ less. RAs are inhibited below 900 feet during descent with TCAS version 6.04a. RAs are inhibited below 400 feet during descent with TCAS change 7.0. So TA ONLY will show at low altitude.
 (a)  Make sure the ND shows the TA ONLY indication when the radio altitude is less than 400 feet.
 G. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

 4.  System Test - TCAS (With the TIC T-49 Test Set)__________________
 A. General
 (1)  This test is a complete system test of the TCAS. The system test first runs the TCAS Operational Test, and then does a test of the TCAS using ground test equipment.
 B. Equipment
