 (13) Weather Radar Status and Fault Message Displays (Figure 10)
 (a)  The ND weather radar status, fault message, and range disgreement displays shown in figure 6 are described below: 1) Status messages of WXR WEAK due to a calibration fault, or
WXR ATT due to an altitude input fault or stabilization off condition will be displayed in the left center of the NDs. If a WXR WEAK and WXR ATT condition occurs simultaneously, the ND will prioritize the messages as follows; hightest -WEAK and lower - ATT. Weather data will continue to be displayed on the NDs. Both of these messages will be inhibited whenever a FAIL condition exists.
 2)  If the weather radar receiver/transmitter, control panel or antenna fails, a WXR FAIL message will be displayed on the left center of the NDs. To determine which weather radar LRU has failed a weather radar self-test must be performed. Refer to system self-test for an explanation of the ND messages.
 3)  In addition an RSTR INOP message will be displayed when the ND temperature is above the first threshold temperature. After 30 seconds the weather data will be removed. If the ND temperature goes above the second threshold the display immediately blanks.
 4)  The ND's compare the EFIS control panel, the weather radar R/T, and the FMC ranges. A difference between any of these ranges will cause a range disagreement message to be displayed on the ND with all other weather data removed.
