 (7)  Go into the outboard main tank and do these steps:
 (a) Remove the tools installed for the pressure check (Table 603).
 (b) Install the coupling in the vent line at WS 724
 (AMM 28-00-00/201).
 1) Install the coupling with two new O-rings.
 (c) Install any structure removed for access.
 (d) Do this task: Fuel Tank Closure (AMM 28-11-00/201).
 (e) Install all the access doors that were removed
 (AMM/28-11-02/401).

 (8)  Go into the No. 2 and 3 main tanks and do these steps:
 (a) Remove the tools that were installed for the pressure check
 (Table 601 and Table 604).
 (b) Install the manifold drain valves (AMM 28-21-03/401).
 (c) Install the coupling in the vent line (WS 280, WBL 145)
 (AMM 28-00-00/201).
 (d) Install any structure removed for access.

Install all the access doors that were removed (AMM 28-11-02/401).

Go into the surge tank and do these steps:

 (a)  
Remove the tools installed for the pressure check (Table 602).

 (b)  
Do this task: Fuel Tank Closure (AMM 28-11-00/201).

 (c)  
Install the surge tank access door (AMM 28-11-03/401).

Fuel Inter-Tank Leak Check

 (1)  
Do these steps to make sure you repaired the tank-to-tank fuel leak(s):

 (a)  
Do this task: Leak Check of the Repaired Fuel Tank.

 (b)  
Do not use the APU to supply power.

 (c)  
After you complete the refuel operation, wait for 30 minutes to allow the fuel to drain out of the refuel/jettison manifold.

 (d)  
Record the fuel quantities for each fuel tank.

 (e)  
Wait for three hours.

 (f)  
Make sure the fuel quantities remain the same (no tank-to-tank fuel transfer).
