WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE LEADING
_______ EDGE AND TRAILING EDGE FLAPS AND FLAP DRIVE MECHANISMS BEFORE YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER. WITH HYDRAULIC POWER REMOVED, THE FLAPS WILL MOVE AUTOMATICALLY BY ELECTRICAL POWER WHEN YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER.
(1) Extend and stop the operation of the the outboard trailing edge flaps (AMM 27-51-00/201).

(2) Put the RESERVE 2&3 XFER switch, of the defuel module on the P461 overhead maintenance panel, to the OPEN position.
NOTE: If the reserve tanks are filled with fuel, fuel will move to
____ the inboard main tanks when the RESERVE 2&3 XFER switch is moved to the OPEN position.

Make sure the manual override lever on the actuators for the transfer valves in the reserve tank, are in the OPEN position.

Move the RESERVE 2&3 XFER switch to the OFF position.

Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition.

RESERVE TANK TRANSFER VALVE BODY - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains instructions to remove and install the transfer valve body for the reserve tank. The instructions are the same for all four of the reserve tank bodies; only the locations are different.
B. The transfer valve body of the reserve tank is installed in each fuel transfer line. The valve body is at the outboard end of the outboard main fuel tank.
C. You can get access to the valve body through the access doors on the bottom of the wing.
