Supply the electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

Make sure at least one main tank contains 2500 lbs/1200 kgs.
NOTE: Enough fuel to operate a fuel boost pump.

(a) Add or transfer fuel if it is necessary (AMM 12-11-01/301) (AMM 28-26-00/201).

Do a leak check of the fuel strainer housings:
(a)
Put all of the crossfeed valve switches to the ON position.
(b)
Put one or more of the boost pump switches to the ON position.
NOTE: Make sure the applicable fuel tank contains enough fuel

to operate the pump.
(c)
Operate the boost pump(s) for 5 minutes.
(d)
Monitor the fuel strainer housings for leaks.
(e)
After 5 minutes, put the boost pump(s) to the off position.

Put the crossfeed valves to the off position.
(g)
Visually examine the fuel strainer housing for leaks. 1) No fuel leaks are permitted at the fuel strainer housings. 2) If a fuel strainer housing does leak, then repair any
problems that you find.
H. Put the Airplane Back to the Usual Condition

Remove the door locks for the wing and body gear (AMM 32-00-30/201).
(2)
Remove electrical power, if it is not necessary (AMM 24-22-00/201).
