Do a Test for the Operation of Main Tank Transfer Valve

(1) Apply the electrical power, if not applied (AMM 24-22-00/201).

WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE LE AND TE
_______ FLAPS AND FLAP DRIVE MECHANISMS BEFORE YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER. WITH HYDRAULIC POWER REMOVED, THE FLAPS WILL MOVE AUTOMATICALLY BY ELECTRICAL POWER WHEN YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(2) If not accomplished previously, do this task: Trailing Edge Flaps Deactivation (AMM 27-51-00/201).

Close these circuit breakers and remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a)
On the overhead circuit breaker panel, P7:
1) 7H21, FUEL XFR VALVE MAIN 1
2) 7H24, FUEL XFR VALVE MAIN 4

Set the FUEL XFER MAIN 1&4 switch, on the pilots' overhead panel, P5, to the ON position.

Make sure the manual override lever on the actuator is in the open position.

Set the FUEL XFER MAIN 1&4 switch to the OFF position.

Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition.

MAIN TANK TRANSFER VALVE BODY - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains instructions for the removal and installation of the valve body for the transfer valve assembly in the main tank.
B. The transfer valve body is found at the aft outboard corner of the inboard main tank.
C. You can get access to the valve body through an access door installed in the outer bottom surface of the inboard main tank.
