WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE LEADING
_______ EDGE AND TRAILING EDGE FLAPS AND FLAP DRIVE MECHANISMS. MAKE SURE YOU DO THIS BEFORE YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER. WITH HYDRAULIC POWER REMOVED, THE FLAPS WILL MOVE AUTOMATICALLY BY ELECTRICAL POWER WHEN YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER.

Extend and stop the operation of the outboard trailing edge flaps (AMM 27-51-00/201).

Defuel the applicable reserve tank and outboard main tank (AMM 28-26-00/201).

WARNING: OBEY "PURGING AND ENTRY OF FUEL TANK" PRECAUTIONS BEFORE YOU GO
_______ INTO THE FUEL TANKS. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THE PRECAUTIONS YOU CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Remove all the fuel from the applicable fuel tank (AMM 28-11-00/201).

Go into the outboard fuel tank.

Remove the rib section which is outboard of the access door to get access to transfer valve body.

Disconnect the transfer line couplings (8) from the valve body (6).

Discard the O-rings (7).

Hold the valve body (6) and mounting bracket (4) in position.

Remove the bolts (1), washers (2), and the nuts (3) (four locations) that attach the mounting bracket (4) to the structure.
NOTE: After you remove the mounting bracket bolts, you can
____ disengage the valve body (6) splines from the adapter shaft (5) splines.

Remove the mounting bracket (4) and the valve body (6) as an assembly from the tank.

To remove the valve body (6) from the mounting bracket (4), remove the bolts (10) and the washers (9) (four locations) (View B).
