F. Prepare the Fuel-Feed and Refuel/Jettison Manifolds for the Pressure Check
NOTE: You must pressurize the fuel manifolds during the air pressure
____ check. The pressurized manifolds will prevent air leaks through the refuel valves.
NOTE: Depressurize the fuel system manifolds when the fuel tank pressure
____
test is not active.

(1) Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE LEADING
_______ EDGE AND TRAILING EDGE FLAPS AND FLAP DRIVE MECHANISMS BEFORE YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER. WITH HYDRAULIC POWER REMOVED, THE FLAPS WILL MOVE AUTOMATICALLY BY ELECTRICAL POWER WHEN YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER.
(2) Extend the leading edge flaps (AMM 27-81-00/201).

_______ LOCKS ON THE LEADING EDGE FLAPS. THE LEADING EDGE FLAPS MOVE QUICKLY AND CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Do this task: Extended Leading Edge Flaps Deactivation and Safety Locks Installation (AMM 27-81-00/201).

Install the G28018 air pressure check equipment at engine No. 1 fuel line disconnect (AMM 28-22-07/601).

Use the manual lever to put these valves to the OPEN position:
(a)
Engine No. 1 fuel spar valve (AMM 28-22-01/401).
(b)
Engine No. 1, 2, 3, and 4 crossfeed valves
(c)
Left and right manual shutoff valves (refuel station)
(d)
Left and right defuel valves (refuel station).
(6)
Do these steps at the center wing tank rear spar:

WARNING:_______ACCOUNT FOR ALL TOOLS AND ITEMS GOING INTO THE FUEL TANK. MAKE SURE ALL TOOLS HAVE ATTACHED "REMOVE BEFORE FLIGHT" FLAGS. IF YOU ACCIDENTLY LEAVE A TOOL OR PLUG ATTACHED TO THE VENT SYSTEM, DAMAGE TO THE WING STRUCTURE CAN OCCUR.
(1) Make a written record of all tooling or removed structure.

Purge and prepare to go into the fuel tanks (AMM 28-11-00/201).

Install tooling on the refuel manifold drain valves (View L):
(a)
Go into the No. 2 and No. 3 main tanks through these access doors: 1) 544AB - No. 2 main tank 2) 644AB - No. 3 main tank
(b)
Go to the manifold drain valve on the refuel/jettison manifold (WS 353, BL 127).
