J. Prepare the Inboard Main Tank (No. 2 or 3) for the Pressure Check (Table 604)

Open the applicable No. 2 or 3 main tank access doors
(AMM 28-11-02/401):
(a)
No. 2 main tank:
1) 544AB
2) 545BB
(b)
No. 3 main tank:
1) 644AB
2) 645BB

Install tooling in the inboard vent line (View K):
(a)
Go into the main tank through the applicable access door: 1) 544AB No. 2 main tank 2) 644AB No. 3 main tank
(b)
Go inboard and forward of the mid spar to the vent line (WS 280, WBL 145). 1) Remove the coupling from the vent line. 2) Install a G28019-19 vent plug into the aft section of the
vent tube.
(c)
Go inboard and aft of the mid spar to the vent line (WS 323, WBL 145). 1) Install a G28019-5 stopper into the bottom of the drain
valve.

AIRPLANES WITH A HYDROMECHANICAL FUEL SCAVENGE SYSTEM; Install tooling in the scavenge system float valve, aft of the mid spar (View L):
(a)
Go into the main tank through the applicable access door: 1) 544AB No. 2 main tank 2) 644AB No. 3 main tank
(b)
Go inboard and aft of the mid spar (WS 330, WBL 50).
(c)
Install a G28019-4 float clamp assembly (sponge) on top of the fuel scavenge system float valve.

Install tooling in the outboard vent line (View H):
(a)
Go into the main tank through the applicable access door: 1) 545BB No. 2 main tank 2) 645BB No. 3 main tank
(b)
Go forward through the mid spar access hole (WS 680, WBL 470).
(c)
Install a G28019-4 float clamp (sponge) on top of each float valve (two locations).
(d)
Install a G28019-5 stopper into the bottom of the drain valve (WS 690, WBL 470)(View E).

Install tooling in the channel float valves (View I):
(a)
Go into the main tank through the applicable access door: 1) 545BB No. 2 main tank 2) 645BB No. 3 main tank
(b)
Go aft of the mid spar to the outboard tank end (LWS 733, RWS 741).
(c)
Install a G28019-4 float clamp (sponge) on top of each float valve (two locations).
(d)
Install a G28019-5 stopper into the bottom of each drain valve (two locations).

Go into the main tank through the applicable access door: 1) 545BB No. 2 main tank 2) 645BB No. 3 main tank

Go outboard and aft of the mid spar to the outboard tank end (WS 760, WBL 470).

Install a G28019-5 stopper into the drain valve.
