Install the Fuel Strainer Housing

WARNING:_______OBEY ALL THE FUEL TANK PURGING AND ENTRY PRECAUTIONS. YOU CAN CAUSE AN INJURY TO A PERSON AND CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE AIRPLANE.
(1)
Go into the center wing tank.

(2)
Prepare the fuel strainer housing and the tank structure (rear spar) for a faying surface bond (SWPM 20-20-00).

(3)
Lightly lubricate the new O-ring (for the fuel strainer) with the petrolatum.
(4)
Put the O-ring in the groove of the fuel strainer housing.

(5) Make sure the faying surfaces between the fuel strainer housing and
rear spar are clean and free from contamination (O-ring lubrication
etc).

(6) Put the fuel strainer housing in the correct position.
(a) Align the slot in the fuel strainer housing with the
anti-rotation plate.

(7) Have a person go into the wheel well for the wing landing gear and
do these steps:
(a) Put the washer and the nut on the fuel strainer housing.
