 tighten the nut.
 (c) Torque the nut to 500 - 550 pound-inches.
 (d) Install lockwire from the nut on the fuel strainer housing to
 the bolt on the adjacent structure.

 4. Fuel Strainer Housing Assembly Removal (Fig. 402)

 A. General
 (1)  
This procedure removes all of the components of the fuel strainer housing except the housing body. Because the housing body is not removed, it is not necessary to go into the fuel tank.

 (2)  
When the components in the fuel strainer housing are removed, any fuel that remains in the fuel-feed mainfold can drain out through the fuel strainer housing. Make sure a suitable container is in place to hold any fuel that remains in the fuel-feed mainfold. The amount of fuel that can drain out of the fuel-feed mainfold is approximately 20 gallons (76 liters).
