 5)  Test lead (H) is connected to a 115V/400 Hz cockpit socket which energizes the trim balance analyzer. 6) The analyzer then energizes the signal conditioner.
 (b)
The trim balance analyzer has a pointer indicator for the vibration phase and two digital indicators, one for the N1 speed, and one for the vibration amplitude.

 (c)
The phase indicator has scale A with a range of 80-280 degrees and scale B with a range of 260-100 degrees.

 (d)
The three lights above the phase indicator are identified with the labels A SCALE, NO VALID, and B SCALE. 1) The NO VALID light comes on when the engine operates at low

speeds and the vibration amplitude signal is too weak for a correct analysis.

 (e)
A SCALE and B SCALE lights identify the scale where the vibration phase shows, thus the meter scale switch must be set on A or B.

 (f)
The channel and sensitivity selector is read in two steps.

 1)  First, the channel selection is made, the signals from the No. 1 bearing vibration sensor or the FFCCV sensor (Channel 2), or from the TRF vibration sensor (Channel 1).
 2)  Then the applicable sensitivity is set to 100 or 20 pC/g.
 (g)
On the right-hand side of the panel are found the 115V/400 Hz supply connector, a fuse holder, an ON/OFF switch and the supply indicator light.

 (h)
The TEST pushbutton, which is operated before the engine start, when pushed-in, must imply preset N1, amplitude and phase indications as instructed in the procedure.

(4)  The data that follows is for the Trim Balance Kit 856A2605G21/G20/G12 (Fig. 501)
 (a)  The kit has a trim balance analyzer, a signal conditioner a power supply and selection unit, and set of test leads. 1) The T-shaped test lead, (A), sends the N1 speed signal to
the signal conditioner while it keeps the connection between the N1 speed sensor and the control parameter wire harness.
 2)  Test lead (B) connects the signal conditioner to the No. 1 bearing vibration sensor or to the FFCCV vibration sensor.
 3)  Test lead (C) connects the signal conditioner to the TRF vibration sensor.
 4)  Test lead (J), which is 75 feet (23 m) in length, connects the signal conditioner to the power supply and selection unit.
 5)  Test lead (M) connects the OUTPUT connector of the power supply unit to the PICK UP and TACH connectors on the front panel of the trim balance analyzer.
 6)  Test lead (K) is connected to a 115V/400 Hz cockpit socket which energizes the trim balance analyzer and the power supply unit.
 7)  The power supply unit then energizes the signal conditioner.
 (b)  The power supply unit has a channel and sensitivity selector which is read in two steps. 1) First, the channel selection is made between the signals
from the No. 1 bearing vibration sensor or the FFCCV sensor (Channel 2), or from the TRF vibration sensor (Channel 1). 2) Then the applicable sensitivity is set to 100 or 20 pC/g.
 (5)  The data that follows is for the Trim Balance Kit 856A2636G01 (Fig. 501)
 (a)  The trim balance analyzer reads the vibration data, balance weight, and calculates the correction weight.
NOTE: The Elecma User Guide Manual must be used to find the
____ different functions and operations of the analyzer.
 (b)
The analyzer uses 115V/400 Hz that is connected by a power cable to an aircraft source.

 (c)
The AVM box, ARINC support case and case adapter are the components of the case support assembly.

 (d)
The case support assembly must be installed in the electronic bay with a strap.

 (e)
A connection cable transmits the data signals from an AVM box to the SCU.

 (f)
The SCU has a second connection cable that goes to the analyzer in the cockpit.

 (g)
The data is then analyzed.
