(e) Holes that are burned through or missing material.
1) Eleven areas total for both liners are permitted if they are in these limits: a) Three or more adjacent holes are not aligned in the
axial direction.
b) One hole diameter is not greater than 3 times the diameter of the nearest dilution hole.
c) Four holes are not greater than 2 times the diameter of the nearest dilution hole.
d) Six holes are not greater than 1 time the size of the nearest dilution hole.
e) If a dilution hole is contained in the damaged area, consider only the additional area created.
2) One burned through area up to 4 times the diameter of the nearest dilution hole is permitted if other holes are in these limits: a) Three or more adjacent holes are not aligned in the
axial direction.
b) Three holes are not greater than 2 times the diameter of the nearest dilution hole.
c) Three holes are not greater than 1 time the size of the
nearest dilution hole.
d) Seven areas total for both liners.
e) If a dilution hole is contained in the damaged area,
consider only the additional area created.
3) A maximum service extension of 100 cycles is permitted if all these conditions are met: a) No more than 8 holes are greater than 2 times the
diameter of the nearest dilution hole.
b) No more than 2 holes are greater than 3 times the diameter of the nearest dilution hole.
c) No more than 1 hole is greater than 4 times the diameter of the nearest dilution hole.
d) The maximum axial alignment is adjacent 3 panels if they have a separation of a minimum of 3 dilution lands that are not damaged.
(f) Missing overhangs
1) Fourteen areas for each liner if each area is not more than 2 times the size of the dilution hole and they are not axially aligned across 3 or more adjacent panels.
2) A maximum service extension of 25 cycles is permitted with a maximum of 17 areas for each liner if each area is not more than 2 times the size of the dilution hole and they are not axially aligned across 4 or more adjacent panels.
(g) Distortion
1) All distortions are permitted if each is not distorted more than 0.5 inch (13 mm) from the initial contour.

(8) Fuel Nozzles
(a)
Check fuel nozzle tip for carbon or wear. 1) If carbon is visible, check for damage to hardware aft of the nozzle; examine the fuel nozzle tip for carbon or wear.
2) Remove fuel nozzle and perform detailed inspection if wear or carbon is present (AMM 73-11-04/401, AMM 73-11-04/601).
(b)
Check the fuel nozzles for dislodged (not attached) wear sleeves or wear sleeves with a 4-interrupted weld design.
NOTE: On some fuel nozzle assemblies, the wear sleeve does
____ not have a continuous weld to attach it to the fuel nozzle. Such fuel nozzle wear sleeves have four individual weld spots. This is a 4-interrupted weld design.
