Circumferential cracks in the deflector or sleeve 1) There is no maximum quantity of cracks if they are less than 0.75 inch (19 mm) in length.
2) If you find a crack that is equal to or more than 0.75 inch (19 mm), a maximum service extension of 25 cycles is permitted if the crack is less than or equal to 0.9 inch (23 mm) in length.

Cracks that connect to the deflector or sleeve
1) A maximum of one radial and one circumferential crack that connect is permitted if the cracks are in these limits: a) The radial cracks are in the limits given above for
radial cracks in the deflector or sleeve.
b) The circumferential cracks are in the limits given above for circumferential cracks in the deflector or sleeve.
2) A maximum service extension of 25 cycles is permitted if all the cracks are in their limits for maximum service extension.
(i) Missing material from the deflector or sleeve 1) Any amount is permitted per dome with a maximum depth of
0.200 inch (5.08 mm).
2) A maximum service extension of 50 cycles is permitted if the damage is in these limits: a) The maximum depth is not more than 0.240 inch
(6.10 mm).
(j) Holes which are burned through 1) Three areas for each dome with a maximum area of
1.0 x 1.0 inch (25 x 25 mm).
2) A maximum service extension of 25 cycles is permitted if tha holes are in the limits that follow: a) There are no more than three areas for each dome with
material that is gone. b) No area is more than 1.2 x 1.2 inches (30 x 30 mm).

(7) Inner and outer liners
NOTE: Axial cracks can turn circumferential for a short
____ distance (less than one dilution land in length). In this condition, the crack must be thought of as one continuous axial crack.
(a) Axial cracks on the outer liner (Fig. 606). 1) No maximum number of cracks that go across 1 panel or less.
