 A.  General
 (1)  Do not use this procedure unless it is necessary to trouble-shoot for a birdstrike (AMM 71-00-47/101).

If not already done, do the procedure to prepare for the borescope inspection.

Remove the right and left side spark igniters (AMM 74-21-02/401).

Remove the borescope plugs from the combustor (Fig. 606C) that follow:


 NOTE: When you use a fiberscope, it is not necessary to remove all

 (4)  Do a borescope or fiberscope inspection of the nozzle and swirlers as follows:
 (a)  Put the borescope or fiberscope probe through one of the ports.
 1)  Look at the swirler and nozzle area in a clockwise and counterclockwise direction.
 NOTE: When you use a rigid borescope, you will only see
____ one swirler and two deflectors in a clockwise or counterclockwise direction.
