TASK 72-31-00-805-049-C00
5. Phase Angle Matrix Determination
________________________________
A. General
(1)
The different vibration analyzer systems cause each different phase angle to be differently related to the balance screw locations. These differences are because of the electronic circuits, and other unknown causes.
(2)
To do the one shot plot procedure, an accurate phase angle matrix (a table that shows the relation of the phase angle to the balance screw locations at specified rotor speeds) must be made. To make a matrix for a specified cell or vibration system, the two subsequent procedures are recommended.
