Missing or chipped erosion coating found on stages 1 through 9 compressor blades in any amount is serviceable.
(c)
Nicks, dents and scratches on the airfoil root radius. 1) No maximum limit if the damage is less than 0.003 inch
(0.10 mm) in depth.
2) No scratches that are parallel to the platform are permitted.
(d) Tears, nicks, dents and missing material on the leading and trailing edge of stages 1-9 compressor blade found in the lower 25% of the airfoil (but not in the root radius). 1) Tears are not serviceable. 2) No maximum number of nicks, dents and missing material if
the damage is less than 0.03 inch (0.76 mm).
3) A maximum service extension of 10 cycles or 25 hours is permitted if the damage is more than 0.03 inch (0.76 mm) but less than 0.08 inch (2.03 mm).
