 (8)  Install a new lock-o-seal and retainer washer on the pressure
 regulator housing.

 (9)  Install the pressure regulator filter in the cover for the pressure
 regulator housing:
 (a)  Put the pressure regulator filter in the cover.
 (b)  Put a new packing on the pressure regulator filter in the
 cover.

 S 433-011
 (10) Install the cover on the pressure regulator housing:
 (a)  
Install the cover on the pressure regulator housing.

 (b)  
Tighten the cover for the pressure regulator housing to 75-85 pound-inches (8.5-9.6 N.m).

 CAUTION: DO NOT TIGHTEN THE AIR INLET LINE FOR THE PRESSURE REGULATOR
_______ MORE THAN 65 POUND-INCHES (7.3 N.M). THE FITTING WILL BREAK FROM THE COVER FOR THE PRESSURE REGULATOR HOUSING.
 (11) Connect the air inlet line to the pressure regulator and to the bleed air valve:
 (a)  
Connect the air inlet line.

 (b)  
Install the clamp for the air inlet line.

 Do the test of the pressure regulator (AMM 49-52-21/501).

 Close the APU cowl door:


 (a)  Disconnect the door support rods.

Put the door support rods in the clips on the APU cowl door.

 (c)  
Close the APU cowl door.

 (d)  
Close the latches for the APU cowl door.

 (14) Set the circuit breaker and the switch:
 (a)  
Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close this circuit breaker: 1) E3-3 Electrical Shelf, APU Control Unit

 (b)  
Remove the DO-NOT-OPERATE tag from the APU master switch on the P5 forward overhead panel.

DIFFERENTIAL AIR PRESSURE REGULATOR - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

 1.  General
_______
 A.  This procedure contains the removal and the installation tasks for the regulator for the differential air pressure. During this procedure, the regulator is referred to as the differential pressure regulator.
 B.  The differential pressure regulator is attached to the bleed air duct in the APU compartment. You can get access to the regulator through the APU cowl door.

 B.  Procedure
 S 864-002
 (1)  Set the switch and the circuit breaker:
 (a)  
Set the APU master switch, on the P5 forward overhead panel, to the OFF position and attach a DO-NOT-OPERATE tag.

 (b)  
Open this circuit breaker and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag: 1) E3-3 Electrical Shelf, APU Control Unit
