 (3)  Install the stabilizer trim lock assembly on the stabilizer trim wheel.
 (a) (b) (c)  Turn the trim wheel to put the handle at the top of the wheel.Adjust the height of the trim lock to set the trim wheel handle tightly in the bottom of the yoke.Install the pin through the yoke and install the safety pin.

 (4)  Open this circuit breaker and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag. (a) E3-3 Electrical Shelf, APU Control Unit

 (6)  Disconnect the electrical connector from the stabilizer trim electric actuator.

 (7)  Disconnect the electrical connector from the autopilot stabilizer trim servo.

 (8)  Install caps on the electrical connectors and receptacles for protection.

 (9)  Remove the shutoff valve: (a) Disconnect the pressure line from the pneumatic actuator. 1) Install caps on the pressure line and the pneumatic actuator for protection.

(b)  Remove the nuts and the washers that attach the shutoff valve to the upper shroud.
 NOTE: The bolts are attached to the upper shroud.

 S 864-016
 (1)  Make sure the switch and the circuit breaker are set correctly:
 (a)  
Make sure the APU master switch, on the P5 forward overhead panel, is in the OFF position with a DO-NOT-OPERATE tag attached.

 (b)  
Make sure this circuit breaker is open with a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag attached: 1) E3-3 Electrical Shelf, APU Control Unit

 (2)  Make sure the electrical connectors are disconnected:
 (a)  
Make sure the electrical connector is disconnected from the stabilizer trim electric actuator.

 (b)  
Make sure the electrical connector is disconnected from the autopilot stabilizer trim servo.

 (3)  Install the shutoff valve:
 (a)  Apply a thin layer of the grease to the shaft on the shutoff valve.

(b)  Apply the parting agent to the mating surface of the shutoff valve.
 (c) (d)  Apply the sealant to the mating surface between the shutoff valve and the cutout of the duct assembly.Install the valve through the horizontal web opening and align the bracket holes with the bolts in the upper shroud. 1) Make sure the shutoff valve tightly fits over the air inlet duct.
 (e)  Install the nuts and the washers that attach the shutoff valve to the bracket.
