Open these circuit breakers on the P18 Circuit Breaker Panel
and attach the DO-NOT-OPERATE tags:
1) AUTO FLT CONT SYS A MACH TRIM AC
2) AUTO FLT CONT SYS A MACH TRIM DC
3) AFDS MCP DC
4) AIRPLANES WITH MECHANICAL AILERON FORCE LIMITER;
AFDS AIL FORCE LIM
5) AUTO FLT CONT SYS A SNSR EXC AC
6) AUTO FLT CONT SYS A FCC DC
7) AUTO FLT CONT SYS A ENGAGE INTLK A
8) AUTO FLT CONT SYS A WARN LIGHT BAT
9) AUTOPILOT STABILIZER TRIM SERVO

(2) Install the stabilizer trim lock assembly on the stabilizer trim wheel.
(a)
Turn the trim wheel to put the handle at the top of the wheel.
(b)
Adjust the height of the trim lock to set the trim wheel handle tightly in the bottom of the yoke.
(c)
Install the pin through the yoke and install the safety pin.

(3) Open this circuit breaker and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:
(a) E3-3 Electrical Shelf, APU Control Unit

(4) Open the APU cowl door:
(a)
Open the latches for the APU cowl door.
(b)
Open the APU cowl door.
(c)
Connect the door support rods.

CAUTION:_______BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU MOVE THE LOWER SHROUD. DAMAGE TO THE SHROUD DRAIN LINES CAN OCCUR.
(5) Remove the lower shroud:
(a)
Hold the lower shroud and open the shroud latches.
(b)
Remove the lower shroud.

NOTE: The access to the inspection tube for the fan inlet screen is

Install caps on the electrical connectors and receptacles for protection.

Remove the pin or bolt that attaches the cap assembly to the inspection tube.

Remove the cap assembly from the inspection tube.

With a flashlight, examine the fan inlet screen for oil, lint or other blockage.
(a) If you found blockage, do the cleaning procedure for the fan inlet screen.
