 WARNING:_______ MAKE SURE YOU REMOVE THE ELECTRICAL POWER FROM THE IGNITION AND
 START SYSTEM.  LET 3 MINUTES GO BY BEFORE YOU REMOVE THE HIGH
 VOLTAGE LEAD.  GROUND THE HIGH VOLTAGE LEAD AGAINST THE SHELL
 OF THE IGNITER PLUG BEFORE YOU REMOVE THE HIGH VOLTAGE LEAD.
 MAKE SURE THE IGNITION EXCITER IS FREE FROM ELECTRICAL POWER
 BEFORE YOU REMOVE THE HIGH VOLTAGE LEAD.  THE ELECTRICAL POWER
 TO THE IGNITION AND START SYSTEM IS AT A VERY HIGH VOLTAGE.
 THE ELECTRICAL POWER TO THE IGNITION AND START SYSTEM CAN CAUSE

 INJURY TO OR KILL PERSONS.
 (4)  Disconnect the high voltage lead from the igniter plug:
 (a)  
Remove the lockwire from the mounting bolts for the igniter plug and the terminal for the high voltage lead.

 (b)  
Disconnect the high voltage lead from the igniter plug.

 (5)  Remove the fuel lines from the combustor unit:
 (a)  
Put the container below the combustor unit.

 (b)  
Disconnect the fuel line from the fitting on the fuel atomizer.

 (c)  
Loosen the fitting for the fuel line at the fuel solenoid valve.

 (d)  
Release the fuel line from the APU.

 (e)  
Turn the fuel line and drain the fuel into the container.

 (f)  
Move the fuel line away from the combustion chamber cap to permit clearance for the removal of the combustor unit.

 (g)  
Disconnect the fuel drain line from the combustion chamber cap.

 (h)  
Install the caps, covers and plugs on all the disconnected lines, fittings and ports to prevent contamination.

 (i)  
Remove the container with the fuel from below the combustor unit.

 (6)  Remove the combustor unit from the turbine plenum:
 (a)  Remove the coupling nut from the coupling.

(b)  
Remove the coupling.

 1)  If required, use a rubber mallet and tap lightly to loosen the coupling.

 (c)  
Examine the T-bolt on the coupling and the coupling nut for wear, galling, stripping, or crossed threads. 1) If you find signs of damage, replace the coupling and its

 nut.

 (d)  
Remove the combustor unit from the turbine plenum.

 (e)  
Remove the packing from the combustor unit.

 (f)  
Discard the packing from the combustor unit.

 D.  Procedure
 S 424-011
 (1)  Install the combustor unit to the turbine plenum:
 (a)  
Install the new packing on the combustor unit.

 (b)  
Install the combustor unit in the turbine plenum.

 (c)  
Install the coupling that attaches the combustor unit to the turbine plenum.

 (d)  
Install the coupling nut and manually tighten.

 (e)  
Tap lightly on the coupling entire outer diameter to make sure the coupling is installed correctly.

 (2)  Connect the fuel line to the fuel atomizer:
 (a)  
Remove the caps, covers and plugs from all the disconnected lines, fittings and ports.
