COOLING AIR SHUTOFF VALVE - ADJUSTMENT/TEST

1. General
_______
A. This procedure gives the steps to do the tests of the cooling air shutoff valve pneumatic actuator (which is referred to in this procedure as the pneumatic actuator). The pneumatic actuator is part of the shutoff valve. The procedure makes sure the shutoff valve moves freely.
B. This procedure does an operational test of the pneumatic actuator and
examines the shutoff valve for smooth operation. You can get access to
the pneumatic actuator through the lightning holes in the horizontal web
above the APU.
