Install the bonding jumper to the electronic speed switch with the washers and nut (AMM 20-10-37/401). 1) You must have a resistance of 0.0025 ohm maximum.
(c)
Put the electronic speed switch on the mounting tray.
(d)
Install the washers and screws that attach the electronic speed switch to the mounting tray (SWPM 20-20-00). 1) You must have a resistance of 0.01 ohm maximum.
(e)
Connect the electrical connector to the electronic speed switch.

(3) Set the circuit breaker and the switch: (a) Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close this circuit breaker: 1) E3-3 Electrical Shelf, APU Control Unit (b) Remove the DO-NOT-OPERATE tag from the APU master switch on the P5 forward overhead panel.

(4) Do an operational test of the electronic speed switch: (a) Start and operate the APU (AMM 49-11-00/201). (b) Let the engine operation become stable. (c) Make sure the engine operates correctly. (d) Do the APU usual shutdown (AMM 49-11-00/201).

COMPRESSOR INLET TEMPERATURE SENSOR - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains the removal and the installation tasks for the temperature sensor (T2) for the compressor inlet. During this procedure, the sensor is referred to as the inlet temperature sensor.
B. The inlet temperature sensor is at the 7:30 position on the compressor plenum. You can get access to the sensor through the APU cowl door.

B. Procedure

(1) Set the switch and the circuit breaker:
(a)
Set the APU master switch on the P5 forward overhead panel to the OFF position and attach a DO-NOT-OPERATE tag.
(b)
Open this circuit breaker and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag: 1) E3-3 Electrical Shelf, APU Control Unit

(2) Open the APU cowl door:
(a)
Open the latches for the APU cowl door.
(b)
Open the APU cowl door.
(c)
Connect the door support rods.

CAUTION:_______BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU MOVE THE LOWER SHROUD. DAMAGE TO THE SHROUD DRAIN LINES CAN OCCUR.
(3) Remove the lower shroud:
(a)
Hold the lower shroud and open the shroud latches.
(b)
Remove the lower shroud.
