9) AUTOPILOT STABILIZER TRIM SERVO

(3) Install the stabilizer trim lock assembly on the stabilizer trim wheel.
(a)
Turn the trim wheel to put the handle at the top of the wheel.
(b)
Adjust the height of the trim lock to set the trim wheel handle tightly in the bottom of the yoke.
(c)
Install the pin through the yoke and install the safety pin.

Open the access door 3701 for the stabilizer trim.

Disconnect the electrical connector from the stabilizer trim electric actuator.

Disconnect the electrical connector from the autopilot stabilizer trim servo.

Install caps on the electrical connectors and receptacles for protection.

Do the functional test for the shutoff valve:
(a)
Disconnect the control air line for the shutoff valve from the pneumatic actuator.
(b)
Connect the pressurized air source to the air inlet port on the pneumatic actuator.
(c)
Apply an air pressure of 7.0 |0.5 psi (48 |3 kPa) to the
pneumatic actuator.
NOTE: The shutoff valve will freely move to the full open
____
position.
(d) Remove the pressurized air from the pneumatic actuator.
NOTE: The pneumatic actuator spring must return the
____
shutoff valve to the closed position.
(e)
Disconnect the pressurized air source from the air inlet port on the pneumatic actuator.
(f)
Connect the control air line for the shutoff valve to the
pneumatic actuator.

(9) Remove the caps from the electrical connectors and receptacles.

Connect the electrical connector to the autopilot stabilizer trim servo.

(14) Remove the stabilizer trim lock assembly from the stabilizer trim wheel.

Remove the safety pin and the pin through the yoke.
(b)
Remove the stabilizer trim lock.

(15) Set the circuit breakers and the switch:
(a)
Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers on the P18 Circuit Breaker Panel. 1) AUTOPILOT STABILIZER TRIM SERVO 2) AUTO FLT CONT SYS A WARN LIGHT BAT 3) AUTO FLT CONT SYS A ENGAGE INTLK A 4) AUTO FLT CONT SYS A FCC DC 5) AUTO FLT CONT SYS A SNSR EXC AC 6) AIRPLANES WITH MECHANICAL AILERON FORCE LIMITER;
