AIRPLANES WITH THE -5 COOLING AIR SHUTOFF VALVE; Remove the retainer, the teflon bushing, the nut, and the washer that attach the actuator assembly to the valve bracket.
NOTE:____The teflon bushing can be loose in the actuator. Be careful not to let the bushing fall to the ground when you remove the retainer.
(f)
AIRPLANES WITH THE -7 COOLING AIR SHUTOFF VALVE; Remove the nut and the washer that attach the actuator assembly to the valve bracket.
(g)
Remove the pneumatic actuator from the bracket on the cooling air shutoff valve.

C. Procedure
S 864-015
(1) Make sure the switch and the circuit breaker are set correctly:
(a)
Make sure the APU master switch, on the P5 forward overhead panel, is in the OFF position with a DO-NOT-OPERATE tag attached.
(b)
Make sure this circuit breaker is open with a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag attached: 1) E3-3 Electrical Shelf, APU Control Unit

(2) Make sure the electrical connectors are disconnected:
(a)
Make sure the electrical connector is disconnected from the stabilizer trim electric actuator.
(b)
Make sure the electrical connector is disconnected from the autopilot stabilizer trim servo.

(3) Install the pneumatic actuator:
(a) Put the pneumatic actuator in its position on the bracket on the cooling air shutoff valve.

(b)
AIRPLANES WITH THE -5 COOLING AIR SHUTOFF VALVE; Attach the pneumatic actuator to the bracket with the washer, the nut, the teflon bushing, and the retainer.
(c)
AIRPLANES WITH THE -7 COOLING AIR SHUTOFF VALVE; Attach the pneumatic actuator to the bracket with the washer and the nut. 1) Tighten the nut. 2) Install a lockwire on the nut.
(d)
Connect the link to the actuator assembly with the pin, the washers, and the cotter pin.
(e)
Remove the cap from the pneumatic pressure line.
(f)
Connect the pneumatic pressure line to the pneumatic actuator.
