Remove the clamps that connect the crossover duct for the cooling air to the oil cooler and the cooling air fan.
(d)
Remove the screw and the washer that attach the crossover duct for the cooling air to the generator.
(e)
Remove and turn the crossover duct to get access to the control valve.

(5) Remove the control valve:
(a)
Disconnect the three fuel lines and the inlet line for the bleed air from the control valve.
(b)
Install the caps and plugs on all the disconnected lines and ports to prevent contamination.
(c)
Remove the screws and the washers that attach the clamp to the bracket.
(d)
Remove the clamp and the control valve from the bracket.

S 424-007
(1) Install the control valve:
(a)
Remove the caps and plugs from all the disconnected lines and ports.
(b)
Loosely connect the three fuel lines and the inlet line for the bleed air to the control valve.
(c)
Install the control valve on the bracket with the clamp, the screws, and the washers. 1) Tighten the screws.
(d)
Tighten the connections for the fuel lines and the bleed air line.

(2)
Install the removed components:
(a)
Put the crossover duct for the cooling air in its position.
(b)
Align the crossover duct ports with the cooling air fan, the generator, and the oil cooler.
(c)
Install the screw and the washer that attach the crossover duct to the generator.
(d)
Install the clamps that attach the crossover duct to the cooling air fan and the oil cooler. 1) Tighten the clamps.
(e)
Install the overtemperature control switch (AMM 49-52-81/201).
(f)
Install the fire detection element for the APU (AMM 26-15-14/401).
(3)
Do a test of the control valve (AMM 49-31-92/501).

S 414-011 CAUTION: KEEP A MINIMUM CLEARANCE OF 0.18 INCHES (5 MM) BETWEEN THE
_______ ENGINE, THE FIRE DETECTOR, THE CLAMPS, AND THE LOWER SHROUD.
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU MOVE THE LOWER SHROUD. DAMAGE TO THE
SHROUD DRAIN LINES CAN OCCUR.
(4) Install the lower shroud: (a) Hold the lower shroud against the upper shroud. (b) Close the shroud latches.

(5) Close the APU cowl door: (a) Disconnect the door support rods. (b) Put the door support rods in the clips on the APU cowl door. (c) Close the APU cowl door. (d) Close the latches for the APU cowl door.

(6) Set the circuit breaker and the switch: (a) Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close this circuit breaker: 1) E3-3 Electrical Shelf, APU Control Unit (b) Remove the DO-NOT-OPERATE tag from the APU master switch on the P5 forward overhead panel.
