(1)
Remove the main entry door (Ref 52-11-09/401).
(2)
Remove the lining from the side of the doorway (AMM 25-59-01/401).

Remove the body torque tube.
(a)
Remove the bolts (33, 35) from the telescopic sleeve (23).
(b)
Remove the bolt (39) that connects the snubber arm (21) to the structure link (38).
(c)
Move the telescopic sleeve (23) on the snubber shaft and remove the snubber (21) and the telescopic sleeve (23).

(d) Remove the bearing plate (25) and the shims (26).
NOTE: Keep the shims for installation.

Remove the attach bolts (24) from the lower bearing plate (30).
(f)
Remove the lower bearing plate (30), the spacer (32), the shims (31), and the lower link (27).
(g)
Disconnect the chain (17) from the door actuator rod (43).
1) Turn the door actuator rod (43) to disconnect the rod end (44).
(h)
Remove the snubber fitting (20) and the shims (40).
(i)
Make a location mark of the shims (40) on the structure.
NOTE: Keep the shims for installation.

(j)
Remove the bolt (48) on the torque tube sleeve (15).
(k)
Lower the assembly through the stop fitting (14).
(l)
Remove the locknut (13) and washers (11 and 12) from the upper link (6).
(m)
Remove the bolts (49, 50) from the bearing plate (10) and the cam plates (5 and 7).
(n)
Remove the cam plate (5,7), upper link (6), bearing plate (10), and shim (9).
NOTE: You will remove the guide arm and the upper link
