Align the pivot fitting with the upper hinge fitting and install the hinge pin.
(e)
Tighten the fasteners in the pivot fitting.
(f)
Hold the upper control rod down to remove the play in it.
(g)
Change the length of the control rod until it connects to the top hinge fitting.
(h)
Lock the control rod with safety wire.
(i)
Install the rig pin through the lower hinge fittings.
(j)
Loosen the fasteners in the lower hinge fitting until it moves freely.
(k)
Align the lower hinge fitting with the lower pivot fitting and install the hinge pin.
(l)
Tighten the fasteners in the lower hinge fitting.
(m)
Remove the rig pin.
(n)
Move the door inboard to the open position as follows: 1) Turn the handle to the open position, 2) Lift the bottom of the door.

3) Move the door until the "V"- blocks on the bottom of the door touch the door support fitting.
4) If it is necessary adjust support fitting along serrated plate to obtain 0.05 to 0.30 inch clearance between carriage latch hook and latch pin bracket (Fig. 401).
5) If it is necessary add or remove shims under serrated plate to reduce dimension "X" to 0.00, allowing the weight of the door to rest on supports fittings (Fig. 401).

Change the length of the lower control rod until you can connect it to the crank.
(p)
Lock the control rod with safety wire.

Install the roller for the station programming cam as follows:
(a)
Make the snubbers as short as possible.
(b)
On a new door, attach the cam roller and the adjustment fitting to the support bracket on the bottom of the forward edge of door.
NOTE: Leave the fasteners loose so the fitting can be

adjusted.
(c)
Turn the door handle to the closed position and carefully guide the door into the opening. 1) Release the carriage latch and move the cam roller into the
programming cam as the door moves off the supports.
(d)
Move the door until the stop pins are in the center of the bearing plates.
(e)
Adjust the cam roller fitting to let the cam roller engage the programming cam.
(f)
Tighten the fasteners that hold the adjustment fitting to the support bracket.
(g)
Move the door inboard and outboard to complete the adjustment of the roller as follows: 1) Remove the nut from the bolt that attaches the cam roller
to the fitting.
2) Add or remove washers from between the cam roller and the adjustment fitting until the cam roller stays within the flanges of the programming cam throughout the motion of the door.
3) Install and tighten the nut on the bolt that attaches the cam roller.

Adjust the snubbers as follows:
(a)
Carefully open the door.
(b)
Put the door in a position where the cam roller and the programming cam are aligned.
(c)
Adjust the forward lower snubber until the carriage latch is against the bottom carriage.
(d)
Adjust the top snubber until it touches the top carriage.

See that the carriage latch hook does not engage the pin on the door.
(f)
See that the clearance between the pin and the hook is not less than 0.30 inch.
