Procedure
S 424-005-002
(1)
For the upper or lower lining, do this step:
(a)
Install the lining on its support with the attachment screws, washers and nuts.

(2)
For the center lining, do these steps:
(a)
Install the lining on its support with the window reveal seal in contact with the window edges.
(b)
Make sure the applicable cutouts in lining align with the stub shaft for the interior handle and the attachment points for the assist handle.
(c)
Install the lining attachment screws, washers and nuts.
(d)
Install the interior handle (Section C-C). 1) Apply thin coat of grease in the handle pin hole in the
stub shaft. 2) Make sure the door is closed and latched. 3) Install the interior handle in the fully closed position
(forward) on the stub shaft. 4) Align the interior handle with the stub shaft and install the handle pin. 5) Clean the retainer plugs with solvent and dry it with an
air blower, if it is possible. 6) Make sure there is no remaining solvent on the plugs. 7) Put the threads of the retainer plugs in primer. Install
and tighten the retainer plugs immediately.
(e) Install the assist handle (section D-D). 1) Install the handle nuts on the handle supports with the shims, collars, screws and nuts.
2) Put the handle on the handle nuts and tighten the nuts counterclockwise with the spanner wrench.

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains two tasks. The first task is the removal of the upper and lower hinge arms on the main entry door. The second task is the installation of the upper and lower hinge arms on the main entry door.
