 4)  Make sure the torsion spring returns the forward cover to its position.

 Adjust the wire bundle retraction spring, if it is necessary.

 (a)  
Make sure the distance between the ends of the retraction spring is 8.50 (| 0.10) inches with the entry door closed (Fig. 501, Detail H).

 (b)  
If the spring does not retract the wire bundle when you close the door, replace the spring.

 NOTE: An 7.50 inches is satisfactory if you do not change
____ the retraction mechanism and the retraction mechanism operates smoothly.
 (c)  
Adjust the clamp block to adjust the wire bundle, if it is necessary.

Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

 (3)  S 395-067Apply a faying surface seal on the maintenance panel (AMM 51-21-03/701).
 (4)  S 425-049Install the hinge and torque tube covers on the inner side of the door.
 (5)  S 395-068Apply a faying surface seal to the hinge and torque tube covers (AMM 51-21-03/701().
 (6)  S 425-052Install the bulb seal in the door opening.
 (7)  S 415-072Install the door lining support angles.
 (8)  S 425-053Install the entry door lining (Ref 52-11-02/401).
 (9)  S 415-054Remove the maintenance stand from the door.
