Prepare for Installation

 (1)  Do these steps to apply grease to the upper and lower hinge bearings on the body torque tube.
 NOTE: This will prevent the entry of water:
____
 (a)  
At the upper hinge arm (13), fill the hole on the upper side of the bearing on the lower guide plate (View B).

 (b)  
At the lower hinge arm (18), fill the hole on the upper side of the bearing above the hinge link (View C).

 (2)  
Do these steps to apply grease to the hinge bearings on the door torque tube to prevent the entry of water:

 (a)  
Fill the hole on the upper side of the bearing at the door adjustment nut (View D).

 (b)  
Fill the hole above the lower bearing at the upper hinge arm (13).

 (c)  
Fill the hole on the upper side of the bearing in the bearing plate above the lower hinge link.

Examine and install the new seals, if it is necessary (Ref
 52-09-02/201).

 (4)  
Examine the seal depressor surface on the body to make sure there is minimum seal leakage.

 (a)  
Repair the seal, if it is necessary.

Remove the safety barrier.

Attach the sling to the door.

 (3)  
Install the door.

 (a)  
Turn the door hinge arms (13, 18) to the door open position.
