Move the door aft until the latch plate on the top carriage goes over the stop latch on the top track.

Move the door forward until the latch plate is against the stop latch on the track.
(i)
Adjust the aft top and the bottom snubbers to get 0.10 inch between the carriage and the face of the snubber.

Close and latch the door.

Do a check of the handle torque as follows:
(a)
Turn the handle to the open position.
(b)
Measure the torque that is necessary to move the handle during the first 10 degrees of handle motion.
(c)
See that the torque is from 144 pound-inches to 240
pound-inches.
(d)
If the torque is not satisfactory, adjust the latch fittings as follows: 1) Loosen the fasteners in the latch cam fitting. 2) Move the fitting inboard if it is necessary to make the
handle torque less. 3) Move the fitting outboard if it is necessary to make the handle torque more. 4) Tighten the fasteners in the latch fitting and do a check of the handle torque again.

Install the door lining, cover, and reveals.

Adjust the seal around the outside of the door lining to get 0.05 |0.05 inch clearance when the seal enters the reveal (Fig. 403).

Close and latch the door.
