Close and latch the door.

Do a check of the door flushness (AMM 52-11-01/501 for Door 1, or AMM 52-11-09/501 for Door 5).

If the door flushness is not correct, adjust the latch fittings (AMM 52-11-01/501 for door 1; or AMM 52-11-09/501 for door 5).

Make sure that the lubrication fitting on the rod end (18) will be on the inboard side of the guide arm (2) when it is installed.
NOTE: This will let you easily get access for subsequent

lubrication.

If the position of the lubrication fitting is not correct, do these steps:
(a)
Turn the rod end (18) to put the lubrication fitting in the correct position.
(b)
Adjust the length of the guide arm (2).
