1. General

A. This procedure has two tasks:
(1)
The removal of the crew service door on the upper deck
(2)
The installation of the crew service door on the upper deck

Procedure
S 864-002
(1)
Move the escape slide to the aft end of the tracks.
S 864-003
(2)
Put the door in the open position.
S 034-004
(3)
Disconnect the lower hinge as follows:
(a)
Remove the bolt that holds the hinge pin in the lower hinge fitting.
(b)
Remove the hinge pin from the lower hinge fitting and the pivot fittings.
NOTE: Keep the nylon washers that are between the hinge
____ fitting and the pivot fitting.

(4)
Disconnect the upper hinge as follows:
(a)
Remove the bolt that attaches the upper hinge fitting to the top pivot fitting.
NOTE: Keep the spacers that are in the pivot fitting for
____ subsequent installation.
