 (6)  Examine the upper and lower hinge, the door torque tube, and the body torque tube. (a) Look at the upper and lower hinge through the hinge openings in the door.
 (b) (c) (d)  Make sure there are no cracks or corrosion on the hinges or the guide arm.Look at the door torque tube through the opening in the door.Do a check for cracks, corrosion, or damage on the components that follow:
 NOTE:____ Use a mirror if it is necessary.
 (e) (f)  1) The upper and lower shaft 2) The couplings 3) The bearing and bearing assemblies 4) The crank and control rod attach fitting.Examine the body torque tube through the opening from the maintenance access panel.Do a check for cracks, corrosion, or damage on the components that follow:

Examine the torque tubes, cranks, control rods and gate control rods through the access holes in the door. 1) Examine each of these components for the cracks, corrosion

 and general condition. 2) Make sure the attach fittings are tight and in good condition.

 (c)  
Install the control cam.

 (d)  
Open the door.

 (e)  
Examine each latch roller on the door and the latch fittings on the airplane structure. 1) Make sure the latch rollers and fittings are tight and have

 no cracks or corrosion.

Close and latch the door.
