Put the door in a position to make the removal of the seal easy.

Remove the door lining (Ref 52-11-02/401).

Use IPA, or Ethyl Alcohol to remove the adhesive between the seal and the door structure at the corner locations (View A, Fig. 401).

Pull the rods from the diaphragm seal retainers (Views A-A and B-B, Fig. 401).

Pull and roll the mechanical seal to remove it from the mechanical seal retainer around the edge of the door.

Remove the diaphragm-mechanical seal from the door structure.
