(1)
If you install the new components, use the drill jig to drill the fastener holes.
S 424-010
(2)
Temporarily install the latch cranks (14) and the torque tube crank (2) on the torque tube (6).
S 224-011

Make sure the angular relations are correct as shown in Section A-A.
S 144-012
(4)
Fully clean the torque tube.
S 374-013
(5)
Apply two layers of the primer to the torque tube.
S 424-014
(6)
Install the latch torque tube.
(a)
Install the torque tube (6) in the door assembly until you can install the torque tube crank (2) on the torque tube (6).
(b)
Apply the primer to the inner diameter of the torque tube crank (2).
(c)
Install the crank (2) on the torque tube (6) while the primer is wet.
(d)
Install the torque tube (6) through the bearing housings (9) to its usual position.
(e)
Move the torque tube crank (2) into the torque tube (6) to its position.
