Lift the door to its position with the hinge arms adjacent to the hinge links on the body torque tube.
CAUTION: DO NOT MOVE THE UPPER HINGE ARM (13) UP OR DOWN ON THE
_______ TORQUE TUBE. THE UPPER HINGE ARM IS NOT ADJUSTABLE. IF YOU MOVE THE UPPER HINGE ARM, DAMAGE CAN OCCUR.

Do this step to adjust the distance between the hinge arms and the hinge link (Detail C): 1) Move the lower hinge arm (18) up or down to adjust the
distance, if it is necessary.
(d)
Connect the upper hinge arm (13) to the hinge bellcrank link on the body torque tube.
(e)
Connect the lower hinge arm (18) to the hinge link.

Remove the hoist sling.

Apply grease to the bellcrank bearing of the upper hinge on the body torque tube through the lubrication fitting.

Remove the vertical play in the hinge torque tube between the upper hinge arm and the bearing plate (Detail D).

Loosen the coupling bolt and permit the door weight to engage to the torque tube parts.
(b)
Tighten the bolts.

(7) Connect the guide arm fitting (10) to the door hinge housing with two bolts (8) and washers (9).

CAUTION:_______THE GUIDE ARM FITTING (10) IS NOT SYMMETRICAL. THE LONGER END FROM THE ARM ATTACHMENT HOLE MUST BE FORWARD. THE INCORRECT INSTALLATION OF THE GUIDE ARM FITTING CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.

If you install the new guide arm (7), remove the used guide arm and install the replacement (Ref 52-11-04/401).

If you remove the door to replace the body torque tube (Ref 52-11-11/401), do these steps to adjust the chain and the actuator:
(a)
Close and latch the door.
CAUTION: DO NOT LET THE CHAIN TWIST WHEN YOU TURN THE ACTUATOR ROD
_______ INTO THE ROD END. THIS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE CHAIN.
(b) Turn the door actuator rod into the rod end. 1) Make sure the clearance between the lugs on the sprocket and the body torque tube is as shown in Section A-A. 2) You must fully extend the actuator rod and the chain to
measure the clearance. 3) Tighten the rod checknut 200-230 pound-inches.

THE CIRCUIT BREAKERS ARE OPEN. IF YOU PUT THE EMERGENCY LIGHT
SWITCH IN THE ARM POSITION, THE EMERGENCY LIGHT WILL COME ON.
THIS CAN RELEASE ALL THE EMERGENCY LIGHT BATTERIES IN 15
MINUTES.

Connect the entry door wire (Fig. 401).
(a)
With the door closed, put the wire bundle through the grommet in the upper door sill.
(b)
Attach the applicable terminals to the terminal board with the clamp.
