 F.  Emergency lighting fixtures in the airplane ceiling panel above the galley complex provide illumination if airplane power failure occurs (AMM 33-51-00/001, Emergency Lighting).
 G.  The upper deck galley is equipped with a chilled air system. This system consists of an air chiller which circulates air in a closed loop. Damaged seals on compartment doors, cart to galley valves, and between the chiller and galley ducting degrades the efficiency of the system and may introduce excess fluid into the ducting trough condensation.
 2.  Galley Complex______________
 A.  The galley is a structurally integral assembly capable of transmitting loads to the airplane structure through hard point tiedown fittings and overhead tie rods. Permacel tape and galley mats protect the airplane structure from moisture under galley units and in galley walkways. Refer to AMM 25-27-00/001, Passenger Compartment Floor Coverings for additional information.
 B.  Visible surfaces are covered with decorative laminates. Stainless steel work areas and the exposed edge of light alloy extrusions are satin polished. Kickstrips are provided. The galley is provided with its own individually controlled electrical system and is connected to the airplane electrical system.
