(10) Install the hand layup miscellaneous offset panels (Fig. 409):
(a) Install the large hand layup panel:
1) Install the applicable fasteners:
a) Bulb support: Put the upper edge of the hand layup panel onto the bulb extrusion support.
b) Spring clip: Push the upper edge of the hand layup panel onto the support assembly.

c) Rotate the lower edge of the hand layup panel in the outboard direction until the lower bracket aligns with the lower support bracket.
d) Fasten the screws loosely into the lower support assembly. e) Hidden screw: Access the support assembly from an adjacent panel. f) Verify that all gap dimensions around the hand layup panel are satisfactory and fairs with adjacent panels. g) Tighten the lower support screws.
2) Quick release clip: Push up on the lower edge of the hand layup panel until upper edge of the panel snaps into the support assembly.
3) Pin fastener and hidden screw: a) Hold hand layup panel to support assembly. b) Install the hidden screws loosely to support assembly. c) Install pin fasteners to hand layup panel. d) Verify that all gap dimensions around the hand layup
panel are satisfactory and the hand layup panel fairs with adjacent panels. e) Tighten lower support screw.
(b) Install the small hand layup panels: 1) Install screws loosely into the small hand layup panel and the support assembly. 2) Verify that all gap dimensions around the small hand layup
panel are satisfactory and fairs with adjacent panels. 3) Tighten the screws to the support assembly.

Install the spline gap cover:
(a)
Put the spline gap cover in its position between the ceiling panels.
(b)
Align the ends of the spline gap cover if it is necessary.

Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

CLOSETS AND PARTITIONS - DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION

1. General (Fig. 1)_______
A. Closets are provided in the upper deck compartment for the convenience of ride-along passengers. Partitions and divider curtains are also provided to form modesty screening in the upper deck compartment.
B. Partitions installed across the upper deck compartment are shaped to the contour of the sidewalls at the outboard edges and vertical at the inboard edges. Divider partition installations include partitions at the cabin and compartment airsle area to form complete across cabin or compartment division. Inserts are provided in most partitions for attachment of loose emergency equipment.
C. Partitions are installed using the floor seat tracks for lower attachment, and the overhead support attachments for upper attachment, where possible. The upper attachments consist of quick-disconnect or common bolts engaging fittings and/or receptacles in the overhead structure.
