(3) Install the overstair panel (Fig. 404):
(a)
Engage the clip at the aft left corner of the overstair panel on the support angle.
(b)
Hold the overstair panel while you connect the captive screws to the overhead support.
(c)
Use the captive screws to connect the overstair panel to the lighted reveal panels that are adjacent.

(4) Install the hinged panel (PSU) (Fig. 405):
(a) Loosely attach the hinges at the lower outboard corners of the panel to the support structure.

(b)
Connect the lanyard to the overhead stringer.
(c)
Connect the electrical connectors.
(d)
Refer to the safety precautions and maintenance instructions for the oxygen system before you do these steps (AMM 35-00-00/201): 1) Remove the caps and plugs from the oxygen lines and ports. 2) Connect the oxygen lines.
(e)
Make sure the panel is aligned.
(f)
Make sure the spline gap clearances are correct.
(g)
Tighten the hinge fasteners.
(h)
Tighten the captive screws.

(5) Install the hinged panel (Fig. 405):
(a)
Loosely attach the hinges on the lower outboard corners of the panel to the support structure with captive screws.
(b)
Push the panel to close it.
(c)
Make sure the panel is aligned.
(d)
Make sure the spline gap clearances are correct.
(e)
Tighten the hinge fasteners.
(f)
Tighten the captive screws.

(6) Install the lower closure panel (Fig. 406):
(a)
Install captive screws at each end of the panel, and at the center of the adjacent window reveals.
(b)
Move the support bracket on the panel bracket at the inboard side of the panel.
(c)
Install the support bracket fasteners.
(d)
Install the support bracket on the panel bracket at the outboard side of the panel.
(e)
Install the support bracket fasteners.

(7) Install the lowered ceiling panel (Fig. 407):
(a) Put the panel in position:
1) Engage the seal, at one outboard edge, with the inboard edge of the adjacent doorway surround.

2) Engage the seal on the other side of the panel with the inboard side of the doorway surround.
(b)
Support the panel while you connect the captive screws to the overhead supports.
(c)
Install the captive screws to connect the lowered ceiling panels to the lighted reveal panels.
(d)
Open the access doors: 1) Remove the captive screws. 2) Let the access doors move down to the open position.
(e)
Connect the support brackets to the overhead structure at the outboard sides of the structure.
(f)
Connect the electrical connectors above the panel.
(g)
Close the access doors.
(h)
Install the captive screws in the doors.

(8) Install the miscellaneous panels (forward cabin area) (Fig. 408):
(a)
Use clips or fasteners to attach the panel to the adjacent supports.
(b)
Attach the other sides of the panel with captive screws.

(9) Install the miscellaneous panels (aft cabin area) (Fig. 408):

Use clips to attach the panel to the adjacent supports.
