Remove the hinged panel.

(9) Remove the hinged panel with PSU (Fig. 405):
(a)
Remove the captive screws.
(b)
Lower the panel while you disconnect the wires at their connections.
(c)
Refer to the safety precautions and maintenance instructions for the oxygen system before you do these steps (AMM 35-00-00/201): 1) Disconnect the oxygen lines. 2) Put caps and plugs on the oxygen lines and ports.
(d)
Disconnect the lanyard from the overhead stringer.
(e)
Disconnect the hinges.
(f)
Remove the panel.

(10) Remove the lower closure panel (Fig. 406):
(a)
Remove the support bracket fasteners (three locations).
(b)
Remove the support brackets from the panel brackets.
(c)
Remove the captive screw at each end of the lower closure panel (two locations) and the screw at the center, between the adjacent window reveals.
(d)
Remove the lower closure panel.

(11) Remove the lowered ceiling panel (Fig. 407):
(a) Open the access doors:
1) Use a screwdriver to remove the captive screws at the access holes (six locations).

2) Let the access doors move down to the open position.
(b)
Disconnect the electrical wires above the panel.
(c)
Remove the fasteners that attach the support brackets at the outboard sides.
(d)
Close the access doors.
(e)
Install the captive screws.
(f)
Remove the captive screws from the lighted reveal panels that are adjacent.
(g)
Hold the panel while you remove the captive screws from the overhead supports.
(h)
Move one of the panel edges in the direction of the adjacent door surround.
NOTE: This will permit you to move the other side of the
____ panel away from the doorway surround adjacent to it.
(i) Remove the lowered ceiling panel.

(12) Remove the miscellaneous panels (Fig. 408):
(a) Remove the clips that connect the miscellaneous panel edges.
NOTE: This will disengage the panel edges from the support.

(b) Remove the captive screws.

(13) Remove the hand layup miscellaneous offset panel (Fig. 409):
(a) Remove the small hand layup miscellaneous panels: 1) Remove the screws from the small hand layup panel. 2) Pull the small hand layup panel from the support assembly.

(1) Install the lighted reveal panel (Fig. 402):
(a)
Hold the panel while you connect the hoses for the air conditioning, and the electrical connectors.
(b)
Use captive screws to attach the reveal panel at the four corners.
(c)
Connect the panel to the adjacent one at its forward and aft sides.

(2) Install the upper closure panel (Fig. 403):
(a)
Install the clip, at the center of the panel's upper side (inboard), on the support structure.
(b)
Attach the mounting ear to the overhead support with a captive screw on the forward and aft sides.
