NOTE: You can use doubleback tape to hold the lining temporarily
____ to the structure. You must remove the doubleback tape when you install the lining permanently to the structure.

(4) Install the screws or the scrivet fasteners to attach the lining to the structure.
NOTE: The scrivet fasteners are only on the lower (sloping)
____ sidewall linings and the forward bulkhead linings in the aft compartment.

(5) Clean the surface of the linings around the lining fasteners with a cheesecloth that is moist with the solvent.
NOTE: It is necessary to make the surface clean for the tape to
____ bond correctly to the linings.

Dry the surface of the lining with a clean cheesecloth.

Install the new tape to seal the seams, joints and all the fasteners at the edges of the lining.
NOTE: The centerline of the tape must align with the centerline of
____ the fasteners when you apply the tape.
At the edge of a panel the tape must fully seal the edge joint.
Do not install tape on the fasteners that are not at the edge of a panel.

(8) Make sure the tape bonds fully to the lining.
NOTE:____There must be no air bubbles below the tape. The tape must be flat on the surface of the lining.
