(1) Remove the dirt from the moisture barrier and the vinyl mat bottom.

Clean the moisture barrier surface and the surface of the vinyl mat bottom with MEK, Isopropyl Alcohol, Ethyl Alcohol, or Naphtha.

Remove the dried adhesive from the moisture barrier surface and the surface of the vinyl mat bottom.
NOTE: Use rag, soft brush, or sponge to remove the dried adhesive.

Dry the surfaces with clean cloth.

Repair or install the moisture barrier if it is necessary.

UPPER DECK FLOOR COVERING - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General________
A. This procedure contains two tasks:
(1)
The first task is the removal of the upper deck floor covering.
(2)
The second task is the installation of the upper deck floor covering.
B. The doubleback tape is used to install the carpets and pads to the floor panels.
C. The thresholds and plastic covers are used at the carpet edges.
